Cusco City Tour

The tour starts at midday from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm with the pick-up from your Hotel, depending on the proximity to the historic center of the city. The first place to visit will be the imposing Cathedral of Cusco which houses important canvases and sculptures of the Cusco school, our professional guide will explain the most important points of this place and then go to the famous Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) in which we can appreciate the mix between Inca buildings (with their perfectly polished stone walls) and Spanish (the church built on the Inca walls). After the visit to the Qoricancha we will go out of the city towards Sacsayhuaman where we will be able to appreciate huge stone blocks of up to 40 tons perfectly placed one on the other. Our guide will explain the importance of this place since before the arrival of the Spaniards and during the colony as this place witnessed one of the greatest battles between the Incas and Spaniards. We will continue towards the sector of Qenq'o (labyrinth) that takes this name for its roads that give the impression of being inside a labyrinth here the most important place will be an ancient ceremonial table that owes its importance to that this place was probably the last lodging or resting place of Pachacuteq. Cusco City Tour: Where I will See?

Cathedral

Tambomachay

Tambomachay (tanpu mach'ay, or place of rest) is the last site of the City Tour Cusco, it is located only 100 meters from Puca Pucara; It was used as a center of worship and worship of water.
